Fireplace and Chimney Service Area in Arlington and North Snohomish County

We keep the area tight on purpose. A company that drives in from two counties away does not know which Arlington neighborhoods still run older masonry fireplaces, how the damp air off the Sound speeds up creosote, or how the Snohomish County permit desk wants an installation documented. We do, because this is the only area we work.

What areas does Alpenglow serve?

Alpenglow serves six towns in North Snohomish County: Arlington, Camano, Stanwood, Marysville, Granite Falls, and Snohomish. Our home base is Arlington, 98223, and the service radius covers the communities within roughly a thirty-minute drive of it. Every town on the list gets the same four services, the same flat pricing, and the same lead technician of more than thirty years.

The area breaks down like this. Arlington and Marysville are the dense core, where most calls come from and where we can often reach you the same or next business day. Stanwood and Camano sit to the west toward the water, where damp coastal air makes chimney maintenance matter more. Granite Falls and Snohomish round out the southern and eastern edge. Camano Island is technically in Island County, not Snohomish, and we serve it anyway because it is part of the same driving loop and the same housing stock.

If your town is not on this list, we are probably not the right fit, and we would rather say so than take a job we cannot service well. A quick call settles it.

Not sure if you are in our area?

Call or text and we will tell you straight, no obligation.

Do you charge a travel fee for my town?

No. There is no travel fee, trip charge, or mileage add-on for any of the six towns we serve. The price you see for a service is the price for that service, whether you are five minutes from our base in Arlington or out on Camano Island. Fireplace repair is $250 plus parts, annual maintenance is $225 flat, and a chimney sweep with a Level 1 inspection is $275, in every town on the list.

We can price it that way because the area is small and the driving is predictable. Companies that cover half the state have to build the drive time into the quote, which is why their numbers move around depending on where you live. Ours do not. A flat number you can trust is worth more than a low teaser that grows once they see your address.

Priority

Gas & safety calls

Smell gas? Leave, call your utility first, then call us. Safety comes first.

When should you book?

Timing depends on two things: where you are and what time of year it is. Spring and summer are quieter, so a maintenance visit or a non-urgent repair books quickly. The first cold snap of fall is when the phone does not stop, and the outer towns can stretch to a few days out. The lesson every year is the same. If you know you need a sweep or a tune-up, book it in the off season and you skip the November queue entirely.

Gas leaks and anything that smells like combustion fumes are a different category. If you smell gas, leave and call your utility first, then call us. We treat safety calls as the priority they are.

Beat the fall rush

Spring and summer book fastest. The first cold snap is when the phone does not stop. Book your sweep or tune-up in the off season and skip the November queue.

Which services are available across the service area?

All four Alpenglow services are available in every town we serve. There is no tiered coverage where one area gets the full menu and another gets a stripped-down version. Wherever you are in the service area, you can book the same work.

Fireplace Installation

Gas, wood, and pellet units, done to code with the permit pulled.

Fireplace Repair

We trace the real fault, quote it before we start, and fix it.

Annual Maintenance

One flat price to clean, test, and document, keeping your warranty valid.

Chimney Sweeps

Creosote removed, Level 1 inspection, and the written report you need.

Every one of those carries a one-year warranty on the work, in every town.

Why does a local service area matter for fireplace work?

A tight local service area matters because fireplace and chimney work is shaped by local conditions that a distant company does not track. The housing stock, the climate, and the permit process are different in North Snohomish County than they are two hours south, and those differences change how the work should be done.

Take the climate. The damp air off Puget Sound keeps flue interiors cooler and wetter than they would be inland, and cool damp flues let creosote build faster and glaze harder. A technician who works this area every week expects that and inspects for it. Take the permit process. Snohomish County has its own way of wanting an installation documented, and a crew that pulls those permits regularly moves through it without the delays a first-timer hits. Take the housing. Arlington and the towns around it have a mix of newer builds and older homes with original masonry fireboxes, and knowing which is which before the visit means the quote is right the first time.

None of that shows up on a national chain’s checklist. It is the quiet advantage of hiring the company that only works where you live.

Where is Alpenglow based and how do I reach you?

Alpenglow Fireplace Services is based in Arlington, Washington, 98223, and mail goes to PO Box 395, Arlington WA 98223. We are a service-area business, which means we come to you rather than run a storefront you visit. The fastest way to reach us is to call or text (360) 548-3747, or email info@alpenglowfireplace.com. We answer Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and reply to every request the same business day.

When you reach out, tell us your town, the fuel type of your fireplace, and what is going on. That is enough for us to tell you whether you are in the service area, roughly when we can come, and what the visit will cost. No obligation, no pressure to book on the spot.
