Alpenglow Fireplace Services is a licensed and bonded fireplace and chimney company based in Arlington, Washington. We install, service, sweep, and inspect gas, wood, and pellet fireplaces, stoves, and inserts from the Skagit Valley to Everett, Camano Island included. Fireplaces aren’t a department here or a line on a bigger menu. The thing that warms your living room is the thing we do all day, and there’s three decades of trade experience behind every visit — gas, wood, and pellet.

Alpenglow carries forward the work of M&D Fireplace Services — a name homeowners around here already knew and trusted. Bradley bought the company in 2026 and gave it a new name, keeping the foundation that mattered: the reputation, the standards, the technical experience. What changed is the name on the van. What stayed the same is how the work gets done: carefully, to code, by people who know these homes.
The local part matters, though not the way fireplace ads usually mean it. A fireplace in Arlington isn’t a different machine than one anywhere else. What’s different is who answers for the work. This is an owner-run shop — decisions about your fireplace get made in your driveway, and when the job’s done, we’re still here. What we do and where we do it
We keep the services and the service area deliberately small. Four services — fireplace installation, gas & pellet service, wood service & chimney sweep, and inspection — each done to code, with upfront pricing and a one-year warranty. No gutters, no ducts, no seventeen-trade menu. Fireplaces, done properly, is the whole plan.
Home is Arlington and the towns around it — Stanwood, Camano Island, Marysville, Granite Falls, Snohomish. The regular service area runs a bit wider, from the Skagit Valley down to Everett, with no travel fee anywhere inside it. If you’re in that ring, you’re on our route. A bit outside it? Call — we’ll quote the travel fee for your address before anything’s booked.
